Viaje a Inglaterra 2012

Alumnos de 2º y 3º ESO del IES Santa Bárbara realizamos un viaje de estudios a Inglaterra del 9 al 15 de abril. La estancia fue con familias en Cheltenham, una bonita localidad en el este de Inglaterra y que en el pasado fue ciudad balneario para la realeza británica.

Por las mañanas asistíamos a clase y por las tardes realizábamos excursiones a los alrededores: los Cotswolds (Bibury y Bourton-on-the-Water), Gloucester (los muelles y la catedral) y la fábrica de chocolate de Cadbury’s.

El sábado 14 de abril hicimos una excursión a Londres, con un paseo en barco por el Támesis (the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, the Globe Theatre, the London Eye, the Houses of Parliament and the Big Ben) y luego a pie por Whitehall – donde vimos el 10 de Downing Street y las Caballerizas-, the Mall, St James’ Park, Buckingham Palace, Picadilly Circus y Covent Garden.
